‍ ‍About Interventions

HISTORY

Interventions started as a private mental health group practice, receiving our licensure as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) and licensure as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) in 2007. We have expanded our capacity and currently provide mental health services under Medicaid for Maryland’s Public Mental Health System and accepts most state approved private insurance plans.

WHO WE SERVE

At Interventions, we provide comprehensive counseling services to those suffering with acute or chronic mental illness, co-occurring disorders and post-traumatic stress. We also work with veterans and their families. Our primary area of service covers Anne Arundel County; however, services are made available to other jurisdictions as needed. The organization receives referrals directly from the Anne Arundel County Health Department, the Anne Arundel County Mental Health organization, the Anne Arundel Crisis Response and the Anne Arundel County Courts.

At Interventions, our mission is to promote the well-being of the individuals and families in the Anne Arundel County communities by providing accessible, quality mental health and substance abuse/addiction care for adults, and their families.
