Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Your step towards Independence!
Our Purpose
Everyone deserves the opportunity to feel confident, connected, and in control of their life. Our PRP program provides caring, one-on-one support to help adults living with ongoing mental health challenges build the skills they need to live more independently and fully participate in their communities.
Our counselors work alongside each person, offering practical support with housing, benefits, finances, meal and menu preparation, transportation, self care, social connections, education, and employment goals.
We’re here to meet you where you are, support your goals, and help you take meaningful steps toward a more independent and fulfilling life.

PRP services are available at no cost to eligible individuals age 18 and older who have Maryland Medicaid and are currently receiving mental health treatment for a major mental illness. We also work to identify alternative options for uninsured individuals whenever possible.
We partner with other mental health providers to provide these services. Providers are encouraged to refer appropriate candidates without delay. To initiate a referral, mental health providers must complete the attached PRP referral form and email it to Interventions@ibhc.us.
